A B2B marketplace with trust built in
A multi-sided marketplace where buyers, sellers and payments meet, with the trust and operations layer that makes it usable.

In short
Marketplace build, in short
- Seller verification and buyer onboarding flows
- Relevance-ranked listing search and filtering
- Split payments and auditable seller payouts
- An order, refund and dispute lifecycle
What made this hard.
A marketplace is not a shop. It has to balance two sides, handle money flowing between strangers, and stay usable as catalogue and order volume grow.
The work was the unglamorous core: onboarding, listings, search, orders, payouts and the dispute handling that keeps both sides coming back.
Stack
- Next.js

- Stripe Connect
- Elasticsearch
The build, step by step.
Both sides onboarded well
Seller verification and buyer sign-up are designed as first-class flows, because a marketplace lives or dies on supply and demand turning up.
Search that finds things
Listings are indexed for relevance and filtering, so buyers reach the right product instead of giving up.
Money that splits correctly
Payments, fees and seller payouts run through a clear flow with an auditable record of who is owed what.
Disputes handled, not ignored
Orders, refunds and disputes have defined states, so support has a process rather than an inbox.

It has two sides to balance and money flowing between parties who do not know each other. Onboarding, payouts and dispute handling are core, not extras, and that is where the real work sits.
Payments, platform fees and seller payouts run through a clear flow with an auditable record, typically on a provider such as Stripe Connect, so everyone can see who is owed what.
Orders, refunds and disputes move through defined states, so support follows a process with a clear record rather than working from an inbox.
